MARTIN BONVENTRE

As Sinatra learned from Bing Crosby and took crooning into a new dimension, Martin Bonventre has learned from the whole history of swingin' singers from Crosby to Marvin Gaye, and he makes music all his own. He's a swinger for the bold and unexpected new ways things swing today.

Adapted from Don Miguel de Cervantes’ classic Spanish novel, “Don Quixote”, “Man of La Mancha” is wonderfully theatrical, funny, and uplifting. While imprisoned by the Spanish Inquisition, Cervantes leads his fellow prisoners in the enactment of his as then unfinished manuscript, the story of Don Quixote and his often vain and sometimes foolish quest to right the world’s wrongs - “to dream the impossible dream” – that gave us the very word “quixotic.”
